Marines Goodies - Mouse Wheel

From marines *other* store, we have a very House of Gord like piece

Appearance

Its mesh, so its got a low prim count, 7 to be exact (yes, I do prim counts on furniture now), but that doesn't stop it being very detailed. The wheel has 3 speeds, plus an idle pose. There's 5 walks included. Normal, chained, hobbled, tight (hop) and Pony. Each one has its own anims for each level of speed as well.

It also has 10 built in  colours, with custom options as well.

The Distance Counter is also there, which shows some simple information, more on it below. Similarly there is the zapper. When worn and turned on, cables go to some VERY sensitive areas of the sub, clamped in place naturally. If the sub goes too slow, it mouthy, or the Domme is just feeling evil, they can send a nasty zap through the sub, with anims of course.

There's also 3 full perm lights included in the box, which can be placed near a wheel to be powered by it, more below.

Also to show the smoothness of the animation.. here -Vid

Function

So, to start.. There's some interesting bits.

The menus themselves are simple. The config menu lets you adjust how the person walks (or hops), the Sound menu button turns noises off and on. Maintenance is owner only, and lets you adjust owner, up date (via new version), and reset.

Hitch is force sit, unhitch is unsit, and color is as expected.

The Distance counter has its own menus, and is in someways the most important. Init you can set Goals, be it time, distance or both. It naturally records how far you have travelled, and for how long, and displays it for all to see.

Using the Goals menu, you can set a timer, a distance they must travel, or both, so that they may rest.

The Zapper is cruel. Using it you can give the captive a light or heavy shock.. or set it up so that if they go too slow, they get zapped every time. This one needs to be worn, and the menu is an invisi prim in your stomach. You may need to edit it out a bit for your captor to click it if you have another touch attachment on.

There are also the lights, which are fun and full of RP potential. When you rez one, the wheel nearest it powers it. The faster the wheel goes, the brighter the light is. Clicking the light turns it on or off.

My thoughts

I love the idea behind this thing, and being a Gord fan it appeals even more. It also has HUGE RP potential, with the lights alone..

Saying that we had quite a few anim bugs, with the initial sitting sometimes making our arms go into weird positions, or if we edit while in it, our arm getting stuck up above our head. Nothing major though.

Thanks to Immy (Black rubber doll), Arina (Running in ballet heels with harness gag, and Sarah (Pony) for helping out!

And if its not obvious by the pics, its copy/mod, so you can have an army of poor subs running along powering your house/dungeon/hidden base of evilness

Scores

Appearance - Simple, but lots of little details to make it great - 9/10
Function - Is great, the lights alone, lots of little extras like the lights make it even better - 9/10
Price - 400 Linden

  1. Hi, I can't seem to find this item in SecondLife. Any chance you could provide SLURL links to the shops you present goods from?

You can also find it at the little shop of kink, shown on the sidebar. Surprised you don't know about Marine though, shes the one who runs Real Restraint and made RLV, nearly everyone knows her stores.
